In conjunction with thinXpool Productions, Magenta Sport provides access to over 1,000 sporting events a year. The majority of the live graphics have to be programmed on the scene in the mobile production unit during the broadcast.
For this re-branding project, umbrella brand Telekom turned to us to create live graphics with close links to the Magenta Sport brand design.
DESIGN
We came up with a design that focused on the three main sports in Magenta’s portfolio, which are: basketball, ice hockey and Germany’s 3rd division football league. All of them are rich in tradition and treasured by sports enthusiasts all over Germany. The design builds on this cultural authenticity and adapts to the wide range of commonly-used device screen sizes and channel interfaces, including tablets and smartphones. MagentaTV’s new look is modern, streamlined and dynamic, yet also down-to-earth, free of flashy pretence and out-of-touch VIP box luxury.
